The moral disagreement that I’m writing about is the marital relationships of husbands and wives. I would say that most of Americans believe in marrying one person and not a number of different people. I agree with the belief of marrying your soul mate and not having more than one wife/husband. In our society having more than one wife/husband is usually looked at as immoral. Across the world in other cultures people believe in having more than one wife/husband, they think it is morally right.
The cultural relativist would say that since Americans believe in marrying only their soul mate, then it is morally right for them to marry only one person. They would also say that in other cultures if they believe in having more than one wife/husband than it is morally correct for those cultures to do so.
The cultural relativist is right because having more than one wife/husband is a belief within the society. I think that just because one culture believes one thing and the other the opposite doesn’t mean that one of them is right and the other wrong.
Good job but i disagree with the cultural relativist. Marrige is somehting that should be sacred between two people. Having more then one wife causes tention and jealousy which takes away from the marrige. even though many other cultures disagree with me i believe this is the right thing.

Sounds good. I agree with CR if any culture believes that a human should have more than one wife/husband than it is morally correct for those cultures to do so. To uderstand the culture you have to become a part of it
